JudgeMental hai kya?

Yesterday I watched the movie ‘JudgeMental hai kya?’.
I am an ardent fan of Kangana (mind you, I have never been in my life fan of any person... living or dead... but yes Kangana you are an exception to this ) and hence not watching this movie wasn’t an option with me.

Needless to say, I really liked the movie not because I am her fan, but the movie is brilliant in every aspect... Acting by Kangana and Raj Kumar Rao is brilliant, effortless and outstanding. Kangana steals the show and Raj Kumar Rao compliments her without overpowering her... it’s nice give and take between these two actors which is very essential to bring the best from both of them.

Infact everyone has done an equally good job. Satish Kaushik in a very tiny role has managed to leave a lasting impression on us... he has managed to create some light moments in the film. He is one brilliant actor who is very underutilized by film industry.

Writing, direction, screen play, dialogues and length of the movie (1 hr 50 mins) everything is very good and apt.
This is kind of abstract and offbeat movie which if not handled well could become boring and dragging. But Director Prakash and writer Kanika have managed it to make very crisp and interesting till the end. They don’t lose the grip over the subject at any moment.

The first half of the movie has dark humor and hence it is appealing to the masses, 2nd half becomes more abstract and hence many people won’t like the 2nd half part of the movie.

This movie has many undertones which needs to be felt and understood. It can give you wonderful experience if you are ready to uncover the many layers it is having. It could be understood on different level by each person as per his/her understanding of the world.

I like such kind of movies wherein everything is not been shown so explicitly. It leaves to the audience to draw the meanings out of it which have been very subtly shown in the movie.

The female protagonist of the movie is shown as mentally ill/ challenged person. She is undergoing psychiatric treatment and the narration of the movie is shown from her perspective. But at some places it is also from the perspective of the male protagonist who is shown as so called normal character... we are then left to wonder which narration is true?

They challenge the very definition of 'Normal'. What is normal? Who is more dangerous, a so called 'Normal person' or clinically diagnosed 'Mentally ill' person? Does being 'Normal' imply being 'Good'? People who pretend to be 'Normal' and show a very goody goody, ideal and sometimes glossy life infront of others, are they really 'Normal'?
This movie touches these and many such topics.

It shows mental illness in different manner, it does not pity at them or show them as nuisance, but infact challenges the so called 'sane' world and so called 'normal' people. It makes us to think abut a thin line between 'insane' and 'sane'.

There is a murder mystery in the film... hence people call it as a psychological thriller... But I differ here ... this murder mystery is just been used to prove the main point of the film and movie is not about this murder mystery. It just used to highlight the main underlying point which is .... who is more dangerous? 'Sane' or 'insane'? ....
The mind games which are played amongst the protagonist characters are actually the mind games played with the audience.

Kangana, dear I found you in 'Bobby'.. the protagonist of the film. In many ways the protagonist is just like you... People find you eccentric, abnormal and they don't really believe in your story.. but you are on the other hand is always fighting for the truth.. without caring about the consequences, without caring about how influential the other person is...

People fail to believe in your narrative.... but Kangana please be the way you are... fearless and always fighting for truth and justice... because remember there is a 'sane' part in every 'insane' person and an 'insane' part in every 'sane' person.
matlab sab mein ek 'mental' person hai....

P.S. I am really appalled by the so called 'Psychiatry organisation' for not allowing to use the word 'Mental' as a title.  Without even watching the movie, without even knowing about the subject of the movie, how can this so called society ban the movie makers from using the word 'Mental'?. Whats the justification for that?

An E-mail Interview with 'Paresh Mokashi'

Marathi Cinema has again got back its glory. Though there was never any dearth of talent in the Marathi film industry, a time had come when it had stopped producing quality cinema; it was going through a lull period. It used to produce movies which were rural centric, and filthy and loud comedy and ‘Lavani’ (A maharashtrian folk dance) were an integral part of it.
Gone are those days now. Marathi movie has evolved and has got a new life. With so many talented directors, writers, actors now started making movies on diverse subjects. Multiplexes also play a major role in the revival of the Marathi cinema, along with the hindi movies Marathi movies are also giving good business to the multiplex theaters.
Also due to marathi NRIs spread all across the globe, Marathi films are now been screened in different parts of the world. It has got a new avenue.
Dubai has also witnessed special screenings and world premieres of many Marathi movies in the recent times. Now on 21st May 2010, we are having a special screening of the Marathi movie ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ which is based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke who has brought cinema to India. It was India’s official entry to the Oscars for 2010.

In India ‘Cinema’ and ‘Cricket’ both are our religion, they are so much integral part of our lives. Today the Indian movie Industry is the biggest movie industry in the world, we worship our film stars. So many reality shows, music albums, singers - all thrive on Indian cinema. But how many of us know who is the person behind bringing cinema to India?
It is almost a century old thing now, the first movie ‘Raja Harishchandra’ which was directed by dadasaheb Phalke was released on 3rd may 1913, but it is really surprising that during this 95 years nobody thought of making a movie on the man himself who brought cinema to India.
After almost a century, the idea to make a movie on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke was struck to ‘Paresh Mokashi’ who is a veteran theatre director and artist. He came across a biographical book written by bapu watve on Dadasaheb phalke and that book inspired him to make a movie on the life of dadasaheb phalke.
This movie is his directorial debut and his first attempt took him to the Oscar nomination.
His brilliance is evident from the unique style of storytelling and direction. It is not a typical loud and melodramatic biopic. Instead he has given a very light and comic treatment to the movie. This makes the movie appealing to all kind of audience.
It is a beautifully shot movie which depicts the struggle and challenges faced by Dadasaheb Phalke while making the first movie, but in a very lighter way.
He has shot some nuances so beautifully like the reaction of the audience and his wife when they first time watch the moving pictures. There was a mixed feeling of fear and thrill in the audience. Also His struggle to find a female artist for the role of ‘Taramati’ is been shown so hilariously.
He has portrayed the character of Dadasaheb Phalke so damn well. Phalke comes across as an entrepreneur, visionary, adventurous and a humorous person.
I would say everything about this movie is very perfect. And hence would recommend everyone who is a cinema lover wanting to watch quality cinema to watch this movie. This movie is with subtitles and it has a universal appeal, so even though you don’t understand Marathi language you will enjoy watching this movie.

I happen to take an interview of the director ‘Paresh Mokashi’ . Though due to lack of time I could not take his interview in person I sent him a questionnaire and he answered back to my questions in writing – an email interview, so to say.
Overview:
The film is the story about the beginning of the Indian Film Industry, set in 1913, when two business partners fell out resulting in one leaving the company. As the family struggle to survive Phalke (Nandu Madhav) decides to make his own silent motion picture along with the support of his family. He travels to England to learn about the new medium and after he returns, brings together a team of actors and technicians to produce his first film about the story of Raja Harishchandra. Through all the hard work the movie becomes a hit thus marking the beginning of one of the world's biggest film industry.

Excerpts from the interview:

Tell us something about yourself and how did you come into this profession?
Paresh: I was interested in the theatre since school days. It continued in college. First I was an actor, then shifted to writing and directing plays.

What inspired you to make a movie on the life of legendary Dadasaheb Phalke?
Paresh:I read a biography by bapu watve. And right there and then the idea of making film on phalke struck me.

Once you decided to make the movie on this subject what kind of research did you do? Which biographical and other books you referred to?
Paresh: Couple of books on him. Discussed phalke with film historians. National film archive and film institute in pune helped a lot.

How difficult was it to show an era which is 100 years ago? How did you manage to show Bombay of that time? Did you do any special study/research on the Marathi language which was spoken at that time, the clothing of the characters etc etc?
Paresh: It was not difficult as my art director was nitin desai. I will say it was challenging. Mr desai is an expert in the field plus my team did thorough study and was ready with all the photos, articles, diagrams of the things required. All departments like costume, make up, sound did their research and came up with many interesting things. Marathi language was a little different at that time but I had handled it in some plays I did which belonged to the same era. So not much trouble there.

What hurdles/difficulties did you face while making this movie?
Paresh: Nothing. It was all a pleasure.

You made your directorial debut through this movie and your first attempt took you to the Oscar nominations. How does it feel?
Paresh: Fine.

Can you share some of your special experiences while making this movie?
Paresh:The whole thing was special. The one important thing I must mention is the support from family and friends. Without them it was not possible.

Tell us something about the Chaplinesque treatment you have given to Dadasaheb’s character. The treatment of the movie is very light and funny which makes the movie more appealing to the audience.
Paresh: I don’t know about chaplinesque. There is no resemblence, no similarity. If at all people feel like it, its my honour. Maybe the answer lies in the light humoured adventure treatment. Chaplin always made us laugh on the serious issues; that’s how they should be handled.

While making this movie did you feel that it will be so very well received by the audience and that it will be nominated for Oscars?
Paresh: No.

What preparation did you do for the promotion of this movie once it was declared as the official entry to the Oscars?
Paresh: Nothing. By that time utv had entered the picture. They guided nicely. You just need to submit the film. Rest is jury’s decision.

Marathi cinema is changing and is changing for good , once again audience has started going back to the theatre to watch Marathi cinema , ‘Harishchandrachi factory’ is the 2nd Marathi movie in the recent times which is nominated for Oscars. What is your take on the changing face and trend in Marathi cinema?
Paresh: Lets not be so enthusiastic. Change is visible but business is not growing in proportion to the risk filmmakers are taking. We need stronger box office revenues. Onus is on people.

Why the movie duration is only 96 mins and why did you decide to make it in Marathi language and not Hindi?
Paresh: Because it did not require longer duration and because film does not depend upon any one language. This kind of film becomes beautiful when made in creator’s mother tongue. That ease, confidence gets translated nicely on screen too thus making it a stronger film. Then it breaks the language barrier because it has become a picture and not just a talkie.

Do you want to tell any special message to the audience in dubai?
Paresh:Watch the film!

Ek Mulakat with Avadhoot Gupte

There are so many talent hunt shows for singing going on various channels; one often wonders what happens to these contestants and winners after these contests are over. Not all of them can make their mark in the music industry. But I happen to meet such a person who was a winner of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ in 1996 and who made his mark in the Marathi as well as indi-pop music industry as a good composer, singer and also a lyricist …… Avadhoot Gupte.
His albums ‘Aika dajiba’ and ‘Meri madhoobala’ and also songs like ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Maaza’ were on top of the charts and were hugely appreciated by people all across the country. He has composed, written and sung most of these songs from these albums.
His first album as a composer was an Indi-Pop album called "Aika Dajiba" which is considered to be a landmark album in the field of Indian Pop Music. "Aika Dajiba" started the trend of Hindi pop songs with a Marathi punch line. He calls this type of music as combo music. This song received unparalleled response from audiences of all ages world over.
This album was followed up with yet another super hit album, which launched him as a pop singer - "Meri Madhubala".
Most of his songs are composed, sung and even written by him. The simplicity and smooth flow of his lyrics got such a tremendous response from the audiences that he found himself writing the lyrics for most of his compositions. From the foot tapping fun songs like Aika Dajiba, Meri Madhubala, Halu Halu Chaal to romantic songs like Koi Ho and Kabhi Gehere Samunder right up to sentimental numbers like Din Pareshan, Saila and Piya Lage Na Jiya, Avadhoot writes and composes songs of different kinds of moods with equal amount of ease and expertise.
This very versatile and talented singer-composer-lyricist was in Dubai on 30th May for his concert named ‘Dil se Maratha’ which was organized by ‘Maharashtra Mandal Dubai’ in the Mall of emirates. This was his first solo-concert abroad and he received an overwhelming response here. What we all witnessed was his talent as a performer. He is an outstanding performer who creates an instant rapport with the audience.

Here are some excerpts from the interview….

Varsha: Have you taken any formal training in music? Do u have any family background in music? Which place do you belong to?
Avadhoot: Yes I have taken formal training in Hindustani classical music for 12 years from Pandit Jayant Datar.
There are no singers in my family, but yes art is there in my family. My father is a commercial artist and he runs an advertising firm.
I am born and brought up in Mumbai, but my native place is Kolhapur.

V: Tell me about your experience of ‘Sa Ra Ga Ma’. How did it help you to shape up your career?
A: I was a winner of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ in 1996. When I was selected from the audition, it was a surprise for me, I never imagined or expected or even thought that I would go past even the first round. So I was very relaxed and just considered it as an opportunity to showcase my singing talent infront of the whole nation and I think this approach helped me in winning the contest.
This victory helped me a lot to shape up my career. People had started knowing and recognizing me because of this contest, whenever I used to go to meet any music director they had heard about me because of ‘Sa Ra Ga Ma’. So in a way it opened lot of opportunities for me and made my path smoother and with fewer hurdles.

V: You started the trend of remixes of Marathi songs and also combo music in the indi-pop music industry. Tell me how this idea of bringing Marathi song remixes and combo music struck your mind?
A: I never planned or consciously decided things in my life. It just happened. I would say my music is always a reaction of what is happening around. That time the trend of remixed song was very popular and what I found that only Punjabi and Hindi dance numbers were available for the audience. I found the need to bring other regional songs also on the national level so that they also will be known within wider audience. I am from Maharashtra so obviously I thought of bringing Marathi song remixes and also a combo music where the punch line of Hindi song is Marathi. This experiment of mine was received very well by the audience and my albums ‘Aika Dajiba’ and ‘Meri Madhoobala’ became runaway hits.
V: On which project are you working now?
A: I am working on a Hindi rock album which is yet to be titled.
V: Being the winner of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ and also being a judge of Marathi ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ what do you think about such contests and reality shows?
A: I think all these reality shows are really good. They are providing platforms for numerous aspiring singers bringing the talent from the remote pockets of india infront of the whole nation. But yes…only those who are genuinely talented can survive and achieve something in the music industry as is it for any other fields. Ultimately only real talent survives.

V: Do you want to give any message for all the aspiring singers and musicians who are participating in the reality shows?
A: I don’t consider myself in a position to give any message to anybody. But yes I can give a friendly advice to all these aspiring singers, composers that they should retain their originality and should try to give something new to the audience without thinking that whether the audience will like it or not. Audience will do their job, but we should always try to give something new and also good to the audience.
With those words, we concluded the interview. It was really wonderful chatting with such a versatile person, who is a good singer as well as a great composer and lyricist and who is a mind blowing performer on the stage and is equally good in all the roles…. a complete artist. We wish him lots of success.

Dubai Fm Radio

I still remember when I came to dubai now almost 8 years back in 2001, that time FM culture was not there in India. Although listening to radio was not a new concept for me. If I walk down the memory lane then I still remember the big radio which my grandmother had, I never listened to it because since I was born it was never in a working condition.

When I was born TV was not there at all. The only live source of entertainment was radio. We had a small transistor and we used to manually tune into the AM channels and listen to old Hindi songs. The signature tune of Vividh bharati which they used to play in the morning was like a morning prayer for every house in India. That tune was so much associated with day to day life of an ordinary Indian that this tune was also used in many Hindi films to show the typical morning routine of an ordinary Indian family.

Then came the radio celone which instantly became a very popular channel because it played Hindi movie songs, at that time All India Radio was not playing Hindi movie songs. There are so many eminent personalities who started their career from radio celone. Amin Sayani, Sunil Dutt are among one of them.

Many singers, music composers have also started their career with radio. Then came an era when TV completely took over radio. People started watching TV, listening to radio became old fashioned. But again with revival of FM channels the trend of listening to radio started.

With the grueling traffic situation in Dubai and Sharjah getting worse and worse day by day, I feel most of the people who are working spent most of their life on the road, blessed are only few people who stay near their office or the house wives who are not on road. For all those who spent so much of time in the traffic and even those who are happily staying back at home, FM is bliss.

I feel now a days people are spending more time listening to RJ’s than with their spouses or children because they are spending so much time on the road. RJs have become part of our family.

I liked the RJs of Dubai FM channels. I only listen to Hindi FM channels that play bollywood/Hindi music, and therefore I will write only about those RJ’s. The RJ’s whom I really like listening to are ‘Kritika’, ‘Gaurav’, ‘Charu’ and ‘Farrukh Viqar’.

The basic quality a RJ should have is a good voice to which you want to listen but besides having a good voice the other quality which a radio Jockeys should have is that he/she needs to be a good presenter, a person who has got skill to connect to the audience, a person to whom you want to listen to, who can bring smile on your face and a person who can make your day.

Every day while going to office I used to listen to Kritika’s show from City 101.6. I started liking her and then almost became addicted listening to her show. ‘Kritika’ has a very different style of presenting her show. She is so full of energy, her laughter, her birthday pappu’s, I like all of it. I used to like the show of Kritika and Gaurav which they used to present together on Thursday evenings. Their chemistry was amazing, both of them have a very good sense of humor and both of them are witty, smart and quick in reactions. They used to gel together so well,
I really miss that show. ‘Kritika’ and ‘Gaurav’ if you are reading this article please think about starting the same show once again.

Kritika, her laughter, her conversations , her topic for discussions everything turns into so much of fun, she really brings smile and laughter in your life and definitely makes the cruel traffic situation also look like a fun game. She is immensely talented, full of life person who pumps in so much of enerygy into every listener of her show. She trasmmits her energy to everybody listening to her. Even chickee Chandoo is good, his chemistry with kritika is again great.

Charu from radio4 is also having a sweet voice, her command over the language is very good. The Sid-Charu show which they used to present together in the morning slot was cool, and again Sid was a good RJ.

In the morning to begin your day with a smile, you need to listen to radio DJ, the same way while returning back home when you are completely drained down, exausted & again stuck in the traffic you need to listen to a RJ who pumps in some energy, takes out your tiredness and brings smile on your face …. ‘Gaurav’ does that job very well. He is a good presenter, witty and smart. His AJ the RJ is unique and very original, very funny and he never loses the tempo, he keeps the bearing of the character and never goes out of that character for a momemt also.

Being an ardent fan of old Hindi songs, which have really played a major role in my youth, let it by my first love, first heart break it was always some old Hindi song which had consoled me and these songs were my true friends. Hats of to those lyricist , those singers and those music composers. Those songs are ever green, everlasting and they will be no matter which century is going on. I mean it.

When I came to Dubai with my husband after marriage I brought all the cassettes and CDs which I had of old Hindi songs, for me it was my treasure. Those were the days when I used make list of all the old Hindi songs and then get it recorded on my cassette.
We also had those records of old Hindi songs since my parents were also fan of that music. I got introduced to those beautiful songs of 50’s and 60’s due to my parents. They had a huge collection of those records (LPs). I have a very sweet memories of those days. Every song is associated with some unique memory, some beautiful days. That is why Vividh Bharati has played a major role in my life, let it be my engineering submissions or studying late in the night for the exams, vividh bharati and it’s programs on old Hindi songs were my companions those days. I still remember many of those vividh bharati programs like ‘bela ke phool’, áapki farmaaish’, ‘fauji bhaiyonkeliye’ etc etc . It really became my habit to listen to the old Hindi songs while going to sleep, they were like lullabies for me.

So when I came here to Dubai I thought I am going to miss my Vividh Bharati programs but to my surprise Dubai had couple of Hindi music FM channels and they all play old golden Hindi movie songs in the night slot.

To some people you connect instantly, and if he is an artist you get some kind of divine happiness from this connectivity. The same thing happened with Farrukh Viqar the radio presenter of Radio4 Fm.
When I listened to his show for the first time I almost instantly fell in love with his style of presenting the show. The first factor for liking his show was but obvious that it was based on retro songs, but it was not the sole factor because similar shows were also running on other FM channels and they were not so successful, what really made his show more popular was his unique style of presenting the show. He has got very sweet voice which definitely makes a good impact on audience’s mind.

His show is very informative, he gives lot of information about the song, about the lyricist, about the music composer, singer about the movie and also about the actors. He really teaches the audience how to take pleasure of any song, what’s the speciality, peculiarity of the song, the intricacies and then we really start enjoying the song more after his description and narration. His show is completely dedicated to the retro songs, he does not talk about anything else other that the music and film, still his show is so much enjoyable and it never gets boring.

I call his show as ‘Sangeet Mehfil’. It gives the same or I would say much more enjoyment than any Sangeet Mehfil.
Dubai like any other international metro city has got so many lonely souls, so many people who are living away from the family and those who are retro music fans definitely find solace from his show.

When I go to India during vacation I don’t like listenning to Fms over there, they are way behind Dubai FM channels. Yes Dubai’s RJs are really talented and now have become integral part of people’s lives in UAE.

Yes Dubai RJs Rock. Aapaki Jai Ho.

Where are we heading towards?

26/11 was a black day for every Indian or I would say, for humanity. We all were deeply shaken, horrified and angry with this act of barbarism.
All the TV channels were continuously telecasting the horrendous incidence live and we were watching that like we watch a cricket match live or a movie, from the comfort of our homes and away from the horrific drama which was unfolding live in front of us.

First and instant reaction of the public was anger, and then statements like ‘enough is enough’ have been coming out from them. They don’t want politicians to take any political advantage of this situation and now the public is fed up of false promises and sham faces of the politicians.
But how long this anger, this helplessness and these feelings are going to reside in us? As I feel that every memory has its expiry date and after that these memories are thrown out of our minds.

People have already resumed their work as usual and nothing is going to change for them; it is always the actual family who has been affected that suffers the great loss of their dear ones & for the rest of the public, life goes on.

This whole drama and horrific act made me think about the very basic thing…. where are we heading towards? What kind of life are we going to have ahead of us?
With advancement in technology the future terror attacks are going to be more dangerous. May be with the advent in technology, terrorist of the future will be able to blow up airplanes or buildings, sitting at home. Tons of RDX won’t even be needed to destroy the buildings and to kill innocent people. Small electronic equipments would be sufficient to do the havoc. Then there will be also biological wars. Thus there will be ‘n’ number of ways the terrorists can use to kill people. War won’t be fought on the borders but it will be fought everyday within your own country with the faceless enemies.

Enough has been said about what the politicians should be doing and what things and changes are needed in the system to take place. But why only blame politicians? We are also equally to be blamed. Who are politicians? They represent the cross section of India. Corruption is deep rooted within all of us. Tell me one office where corruption is not there? Let it be govt, semi govt , any public or private organization. So we have to change the mentality of all the people. It would be foolish to expect only politicians to behave like gods.

The morality in all the people in general is declining!!! This is a materialistic world. The percentage of good people having good moral values is less than 1% and these 1% people are neither in politics nor in any job which serves the country. There is a dearth of wise, noble & good people in this whole world. That is what I feel.

People get carried away by speeches; people get carried away by provocative statements. Very few wise people have their own thinking and they don’t let provocative talks to affect them.
Now media says ‘enough is enough… and politicians don’t try to gain any political agenda out of this terrorists attack’ public then mime their word. In a way it is not bad…if it is going to take us in positive direction. So remember ‘enough is enough’ are not the thoughts of ordinary Indian people but they are imposed upon them by the media. Tomorrow if media says something else people will start chanting that…people do not have their own views.

That means media can play a good role in any national movement; media has to be very responsible and careful while giving any statements. Like the people get carried away by the provocative statements, these terrorists are also getting carried away by the provocative speeches of their leaders and then these leaders of the terrorist’s organization are using this negative energy to kill innocent lives.

What I feel is that this terrorism has to be fought at 2 levels. How doctors treat any disease they treat the symptoms as well as the root cause. So right now we also have to fight on 2 levels ...immediate action would be to treat the symptoms i.e. try to destroy these terrorists camps but the longer process which will be the permanent solution of the problem will be to treat the root cause.... i.e. make these countries grow economically help them become stronger...If every youth is having a good job and education then they wont have time to get provoked and get indulged in heinous activities. If we see, all these terrorists come from very poor background and these poor, jobless youth are then misguided and brainwashed by their leaders, under the name of Jihad.

But are we only threatened by the terrorists? The answer will be No.
Following points according to me are some of the root causes of many problems affecting the world.
1. Materialism
2. Need and hunger for more and still more money and that too without any hard work
3. Want of instant name and fame.
4. Extreme social inequality… In today’s world we have some people who have lot of money, who are living a lavish life and at the same time we have people who don’t have house, who don’t even have a morsel to eat. People are dying of hunger in some part of the world and somewhere people are wasting food.
5. Fierce competition, rat race at every front in life.
6. People want happiness but they don’t know how to get it.
7. We want more money and security and therefore both the husband and wife have to work. We have nuclear families & children are raised either by the day cares or by maids. Children don’t know how to deal with emotions because they are been deprived from the love and security needed to them in their tender years. What is a result? We are going to have future generation which is devoid of any affection and love and the generation which is extremely materialistic.
If we watch the cartoons or the games made for children, it all contain so much of violence. Killing the enemies with guns and using different kinds of weapons are the games which children are playing these days. So killing people is a game for these children - the future citizens of the world.
8. According to me the gravest problem in front of the world in the future would be the mental health of the people. We are going to have all kind of mental health problems. We are going to have future generations where people are going to be like robots, killing other people not affecting their minds.

So now I feel that there is a need for drastic change in the children’s curriculum.. Along with the other subjects like mathematics and science we need to teach them tolerance, resilience, respect and love for each other not just through text books but also through examples.

There is a need for new social law wherein before getting married people will be taught the true meaning of marriage, importance of love. There should be lessons in parenting, strict guidelines about good parenting also some compulsory classes and courses regarding parenting and child development and this education should be free and compulsory to every living human being in this world. I think this would be the new religion.

Why religion in the first place came into existence? …to give people guideline about how to lead a good life. So with changing times, with the changing world we need to have new curriculum we can call it as new religion which will give good guidance to people to lead a good and happy life.

If every human being is going to have good moral values and good strong emotional foundation then they will have happy families and happy families will have happy children and this will eventually lead to happy societies and a happy world.

Children are the future. Give them love - loads of love, be patient with them, give them healthy surrounding and we will have a peaceful world to live in.

These terrorist organizations know this basic thing that we have to corrupt the minds of the children from very early stage so now they have been really making them human bombs by giving them provocative speeches from the early age.

We have to do the exact opposite…we have to teach these children how to love and respect each other.
